The FortiGate 901G Firewall is an ultra-high-performance hybrid firewall designed for enterprise and hybrid IT networks. It integrates Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) protection, AI-powered threat detection, Universal ZTNA, and SD-WAN capabilities in a 1RU rack-mountable appliance, providing scalable and automated network security.

With 31 Gbps NGFW throughput, 42 Gbps IPS, 30 Gbps threat protection, and 164 Gbps firewall throughput, the FortiGate 901G ensures ultra-fast, low-latency traffic inspection and protection. It supports 55 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput, 16.7 Gbps SSL inspection, and up to 16 million concurrent TCP sessions, making it ideal for encrypted traffic handling and high-demand enterprise applications.

Connectivity is versatile with 4× 25GE SFP28 / 10GE SFP+ ultra-low latency slots, 4× 10GE SFP+ / GE SFP slots, 8× GE SFP fiber ports, and 16× GE RJ45 copper ports. Management and HA are supported through 1× 2.5GE / GE HA port and 1× GE management port.

Powered by the SPU NP7 (Network Processor 7) and CP9 (Content Processor 9), the appliance delivers hardware-accelerated NGFW performance. Dual hot-swappable power supplies provide 1+1 redundancy, available in AC or DC variants. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) ensures secure cryptographic key storage, while 2× 480 GB SSDs provide onboard logging and storage for audit and security events.
