Grandstream GWN7706 Switch – 48-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Network Switch with 2× SFP Uplinks 100Gbps Capacity
The GWN7706 is a 48-port Gigabit unmanaged switch with 2 SFP uplinks, 100Gbps switching capacity, rack-mount design, and plug-and-play installation for SMB and enterprise networks.
Description
The Grandstream GWN7706 48-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Network Switch from Grandstream Networks is a high-capacity, plug-and-play switching solution designed for small to medium businesses, offices, and enterprise edge networks that require fast and reliable wired connectivity without complex configuration.
This switch features 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports and 2 Gigabit SFP fiber uplink ports, making it ideal for connecting large numbers of devices such as PCs, IP phones, access points, and surveillance cameras while maintaining high-speed backbone connectivity.
With a 100Gbps switching capacity, the GWN7706 ensures smooth, non-blocking performance even under heavy network traffic conditions.
As an unmanaged switch, it is designed for simplicity. It operates on a true plug-and-play basis—no configuration, no management software, and no setup complexity required. Once connected, it automatically handles traffic distribution, allowing quick deployment in enterprise environments.
The switch is built with a metal rack-mountable chassis, ensuring durability and proper heat dissipation for 24/7 operation in professional network installations. It supports standard 19-inch rack installation, making it suitable for server rooms and structured cabling systems.
The GWN7706 also supports essential networking features such as auto MDI/MDIX, jumbo frames, MAC address learning, and storm control, which help maintain stable and efficient network communication without requiring manual tuning.
Although it is unmanaged, it still delivers enterprise-grade performance with Gigabit full-speed ports, fiber uplinks for backbone connectivity, and low power consumption (~30W typical system usage), making it efficient for large-scale deployments.
The Grandstream GWN7706 Switch is ideal for organizations that need a high-density, reliable, and cost-effective switching solution with massive port availability and fiber uplink support, without the complexity of managed network configuration.
