Grandstream HT814 4‑Port FXS Gateway with Gigabit NAT Router
The Grandstream HT814 4-Port FXS Gateway connects up to four analog phones or fax machines to VoIP networks, with dual SIP profiles, T.38 fax support, wideband HD voice, TLS/SRTP security, and automated provisioning.
Description
The Grandstream HT814 4-Port FXS Gateway is a versatile analog telephone adapter designed to connect up to four analog phones or fax machines to modern SIP-based VoIP systems. It integrates an advanced Gigabit NAT router, providing high-performance routing and network flexibility for small offices or home networks.
Each FXS port supports dual SIP profiles, allowing independent registration to two SIP accounts for flexible call handling and trunking. Users benefit from wideband HD voice with support for multiple codecs, including G.711, G.722, G.723.1, G.726-32, G.729A/B, iLBC, and OPUS, delivering crystal-clear voice quality across all calls.
The HT814 also supports T.38 Fax-over-IP, ensuring reliable Group 3 fax transmission with automatic fallback to G.711 for legacy devices. Advanced telephony features such as caller ID, call waiting, flash, blind/attended transfer, call forward, hold, Do Not Disturb (DND), and 3-way voice conferencing per port make it suitable for professional communication needs.
Security is robust, with TLS and SRTP encryption to protect signaling and media, and each device comes with a unique security certificate. Automated provisioning is available through TR-069 and XML configuration files, making mass deployment and device management simple. Failover capabilities provide reliability by automatically switching to a secondary SIP server if the primary connection fails.
Installation and monitoring are easy thanks to LED indicators for POWER, LAN, WAN, and each phone line. The HT814 supports various caller ID formats, including Bellcore, ETSI, BT, NTT, and DTMF CID standards. Its compact, lightweight design and wide operating temperature range make it perfect for home, office, or small business environments.
The Grandstream HT814 4-Port FXS Gateway delivers a reliable, secure, and scalable solution for bridging analog devices into a modern VoIP infrastructure, ensuring professional-grade communications without sacrificing simplicity or performance.
