The Grandstream HT881 FXO Gateway is a powerful hybrid VoIP gateway designed to bridge traditional PSTN lines with modern SIP-based IP telephony systems. Featuring 8 FXO ports and 1 FXS port, it allows businesses to connect multiple analog trunk lines while also supporting an analog device such as a phone or fax machine.
The Grandstream HT881 FXO Gateway supports up to three SIP profiles, enabling registration with multiple SIP servers for redundancy and flexible call routing. This ensures business continuity and reliability in enterprise and SMB environments.
Equipped with a high-performance Gigabit NAT router, the device simplifies network deployment while delivering fast and stable connectivity. It also includes lifeline support, allowing the FXS port to be directly connected to an FXO port during power or network failures, ensuring uninterrupted communication via the PSTN network.
The gateway supports a wide range of voice codecs including G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.729, iLBC, and OPUS, ensuring high-quality voice communication under varying network conditions. It also supports T.38 Fax-over-IP, providing reliable fax transmission with automatic fallback to G.711.
