The FortiGate 201G Firewall is a high-performance, AI/ML-powered Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) designed for hybrid IT networks and enterprise branch deployments. It combines advanced firewall protection, Universal ZTNA, and SD-WAN capabilities in a single 1RU rack-mountable appliance, delivering high throughput and scalable security.

With 7 Gbps NGFW throughput, 9 Gbps IPS, 6 Gbps threat protection, and up to 39 Gbps firewall throughput, the FortiGate 201G Firewall ensures robust defense against cyber threats while maintaining high performance. It supports 36 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput, 7 Gbps SSL inspection, and up to 11 million concurrent TCP sessions, providing secure connectivity for encrypted traffic and large-scale enterprise applications.

Connectivity is versatile with 8× 10GE SFP+/SFP FortiLink slots, 8× 5GE/2.5GE/GE RJ45 high-speed copper ports, 4× GE SFP fiber ports, and 8× GE RJ45 standard copper ports. Management is simplified with 2× GE RJ45 MGMT/HA ports, 1× RJ45 console port, and 1× USB port.

Powered by the NP7Lite (SP5) network processor and CP10 content processor, the FortiGate 201G delivers hardware-accelerated security with low latency. The appliance features dual AC power supplies (1+1 redundancy, non-hot swappable) and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for secure key storage. Onboard 480 GB SSD storage ensures logging and event tracking for enterprise networks.
