Description
The FortiGate 50G Firewall is a high-performance, compact appliance that combines firewalling, SD-WAN, and advanced threat protection for branch offices and SMB networks. Powered by the SP5 ASIC, it provides hardware-accelerated NGFW performance while maintaining energy efficiency and silent operation.
With 1.25 Gbps NGFW throughput, 2.25 Gbps IPS, 1.1 Gbps threat protection, and up to 5 Gbps firewall throughput, the FortiGate 50G Firewall ensures reliable and secure connectivity for distributed enterprise sites. It supports 4.5 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput, enabling secure branch-to-headquarters communication and encrypted traffic handling without compromising performance.
Connectivity is versatile, including 5× GE RJ45 ports: 1× WAN port and 4× internal LAN ports. Management is available via 1× RJ45 console port and 1× USB port for flexible deployment and monitoring. The appliance also supports wall mounting, making it suitable for branch office or small office desktop installations.
Designed for quiet office environments, the FortiGate 50G features a fanless design (0 dBA) and is powered by an external DC adapter (100–240V AC, 50/60 Hz) with minimal infrastructure requirements.
