The Sophos XGS 4500 Firewall Appliance is a high-performance 1U security appliance engineered for enterprise networks and high-traffic environments. With 80 Gbps firewall throughput, 75,550 Mbps IPsec VPN, 31,850 Mbps threat protection, and 10,600 Mbps XStream SSL/TLS inspection, it delivers powerful, scalable security without compromising speed.

Equipped with flexible connectivity options, including 4 GE copper ports, 4 × 2.5 GE copper ports, 4 × 10 GE SFP+ fiber ports, and 2 bypass pairs, the XGS 4500 supports high-speed, complex network deployments. Its dual Flexi Port slots allow additional 10G or SFP+ expansion for growing infrastructure demands.

Storage is provided via 2 × 240 GB SATA-III SSDs configured in software RAID-1, ensuring high-speed logging, reporting, and reliability. The appliance includes an internal hot-swappable PSU with an optional redundant PSU for high availability in critical enterprise operations.
