Description
The FortiGate 90G Firewall is an enterprise-grade security appliance built for distributed branch locations. It combines Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) protection, AI-powered threat detection, and self-healing SD-WAN to deliver a secure and reliable networking experience.
With 2.5 Gbps NGFW throughput, 4.5 Gbps IPS throughput, 2.2 Gbps threat protection, and up to 28 Gbps firewall throughput, the FortiGate 90G efficiently inspects traffic and blocks malicious activity. It supports 25 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput, 2.6 Gbps SSL inspection, and scalable security for branch-to-data-center connectivity.
The firewall offers advanced connectivity with 2 shared media WAN ports capable of 10GE/5GE/2.5GE/GE (RJ45 or SFP+/SFP), 8× GE RJ45 internal switch ports, and centralized management via 1× RJ45 console port and 1× USB management port. This ensures flexibility, high-speed connections, and simplified network operations.
Powered by the SP5 ASIC, the appliance delivers hardware-accelerated NGFW performance with energy efficiency. Optional dual DC power adapters provide redundancy, while the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) secures cryptographic key storage and hardware hardening.
