Description
The FortiGate 70G Firewall is a high-performance branch office solution, integrating firewalling, SD-WAN, and AI-powered security in a compact, energy-efficient appliance. Designed for distributed enterprise sites, it simplifies WAN management while providing enterprise-grade protection against modern cyber threats.
With 1.5 Gbps NGFW throughput, 2.5 Gbps IPS performance, 1.3 Gbps threat protection, and up to 10 Gbps firewall throughput, the FortiGate 70G ensures secure, high-speed connectivity for branch networks. It supports 7.1 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput and 1.4 Gbps SSL inspection, enabling secure communications for encrypted traffic without compromising performance.
The appliance features 2× GE RJ45 WAN ports and 2× GE RJ45 FortiLink ports for simplified switch management, along with 6× GE RJ45 Ethernet internal ports. Management is handled via 1× RJ45 console port and 1× USB port, providing flexible deployment options for SMBs and branch offices.
The FortiGate 70G is powered by Fortinet’s purpose-built hardware and offers fanless operation (0 dBA) for quiet deployment in office environments. It uses an external DC power adapter (100–240V AC, 50/60 Hz) with 12V DC, 3A input, ensuring energy efficiency and simple installation. The compact desktop form factor also supports wall mounting.
