Description
The FIBERME FAG3124 Gateway is a versatile 24-port FXS VoIP gateway designed to bridge legacy analog telephony equipment with modern IP-based communication systems. It allows businesses to preserve existing analog devices while taking advantage of advanced VoIP features, making it ideal for call centers, SMBs, and enterprise deployments.
Equipped with 24 FXS ports, the FAG3124 supports analog phones, fax machines, and PBX extensions. Each port provides high-quality HD voice, echo cancellation (G.168), and dynamic jitter buffer to ensure crystal-clear calls. The gateway supports a wide range of voice codecs including G.711 A/U, G.723.1, G.729 A/B, allowing bandwidth optimization without compromising audio quality. For fax communication, T.38 and pass-through protocols are fully supported, providing reliable fax transmission over IP networks.
The FAG3124 includes dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports (4 in total) for robust network connectivity, traffic segmentation, and easy integration into existing IP infrastructures. It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 networks and features VLAN and QoS/DiffServ for prioritizing voice traffic.
Administration is simplified through an intuitive web-based GUI, along with SNMP, Telnet, TR-069, backup/restore functionality, CDR logs, syslog, and network diagnostic tools. This ensures efficient setup, monitoring, and management of analog-to-IP deployments.
Compact and reliable, the FIBERME FAG3124 Gateway is 1U rack-mountable and operates efficiently in standard office environments (0 °C–45 °C, 10–90 % humidity). It is powered via standard AC input (100–240 V, 50–60 Hz) and delivers consistent, enterprise-grade analog-to-IP performance.
