The Huawei eKitEngine AP673 Wireless Access Point is a next-generation Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) indoor enterprise access point designed for ultra-high-performance wireless networks. It is built for demanding environments such as large enterprises, universities, stadiums, hospitals, and high-density office campuses.

With its advanced tri-band architecture (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz + 6 GHz), the AP673 delivers an extraordinary aggregate throughput of up to 13.66 Gbps, making it one of the most powerful enterprise APs in Huawei’s eKit portfolio.

This massive performance is achieved using Wi-Fi 7 innovations including:

  • 320 MHz channel bandwidth (6 GHz band)
  • 4096-QAM modulation
  • Multi-Link Operation (MLO)
  • Enhanced MU-MIMO
  • Multi-AP coordination

These technologies significantly improve speed, reduce latency, and increase overall network efficiency compared to Wi-Fi 6.

The AP673 features a triple-radio design:

  • 2.4 GHz (2×2 MIMO)
  • 5 GHz (2×2 MIMO)
  • 5/6 GHz high-capacity radio (4×4 MIMO depending on deployment)

It is optimized for high-density scenarios, supporting up to 1024 concurrent users (recommended ~300 users), making it ideal for enterprise-grade deployments.

To ensure high-speed wired backhaul, the AP includes:

  • 1 × 5GE multi-gigabit Ethernet uplink port
  • 1 × additional Gigabit Ethernet port
  • 1 × USB expansion port

This ensures that wired infrastructure does not bottleneck Wi-Fi 7 performance.

The AP673 also integrates advanced smart antenna technology, which dynamically adjusts signal direction and strength based on user location and density. This improves coverage accuracy, reduces interference, and ensures stable roaming across large environments.
